58th RONALD S. JAMES MEMORIAL TALENT HUNT - 2019
Competition open to high school students grades 9 through 12. Students may participate in one or more categories. Individual participation only. Student must provide their own accompanist.
- Instrumental: Classical - Contemporary
- Vocal: Classical - Contemporary - Popular - No Rapping
- Drama: Dramatic Interpretation - Published Publication or Original
- Dance: Ballet - Creative - Modern - Praise
- Art: Painting – Sculpture
5 students in each category will be selected to perform at the Ronald S. James Talent Hunt Competition which will be held on March, 3 2019 at Rodeph Shalom. The winners in each category will perform later that evening in a concert with the Juilliard Jazz Ensemble. At the concert, an overall winner will be chosen. The overall winner will advance to the Omega Psi Phi Second District Talent Hunt Competition to compete for additional prizes!
Once you have completed the application, you must upload a file of your work in order to progress to the next round. The following formats are acceptable:
.jpg, .tiff, .gif, .pdf, .bmp
Instrumental & Vocal:
.mp3, .wav, .aiff, .mp4, .mp3, .mov
Dance & Drama (must be video):
Judging Criteria: Performance will be rated in each area - Maximum; 5 points / Minimum 1 point
